The mud wall building to the south of the pyramid

Before the construction of adobitos in Pucllana. The Lima used large mud walls, these were the first construction phase in the ceremonial center and are concentrated in the southern part of the current pyramid.

To make the rammed earth, large amounts of clay were used to create spaces such as patios and sidewalks for ceremonies. Many of the rammed earth walls are still plastered and painted yellow.
